We sent the first one back.
The first sample arrived with a cloudy stone, soft facets, a bulky setting and dull grey metal. It looked like every other version of this necklace online. We rejected it and paid to have the piece made again.
The second version is what you are looking at: a clear stone with eighteen properly cut faces, a neat setting and a fine chain that sits correctly on the neck.
The stone is the point. If it looked like the first version, we would not have released it.
Care
The chain is fine silver wire. To keep it in good condition, put it on and take it off over your head rather than clasping and unclasping each time.
If it develops a twist, hold both ends and let the pendant hang free — do not pull. The twist will resolve without force.
Avoid contact with perfume, oils and moisture where possible. Store it flat or loosely coiled, not bunched.

What is the stone made of?
It is faceted glass crystal. Eighteen flat faces are cut into the glass so that light enters and reflects back out. It is not plastic or acrylic.
Is the chain real silver?
Yes. The chain and setting are 925 sterling silver, rhodium plated. Rhodium is the finish jewellers use to keep silver bright. The cheaper versions of this necklace use silver-coloured metal.
How long is the chain?
The chain is adjustable from 45 cm to 50 cm. It adjusts without a tool — slide the small adjuster along the chain to your preferred length.

Finally, a version that doesn’t look cheap.
I’ve bought two necklaces in this style before and both turned brassy within a month. This one is the first that’s actually real silver, and you can tell immediately. The chain feels solid, the setting is clean, and the crystal doesn’t have that cloudy plastic look.
The size is perfect — subtle but still noticeable.
I was worried it would be too big or too small, but the proportions are spot on. It sits flat and is small enough to wear with anything. I wear it at the shortest length with a T-shirt and it goes with pretty much anything.
It feels like a collector’s item.
Everything is great quality. The box, the weight, the finish. It’s not cheap and is definitely worth the price. It has that crisp, glassy sparkle. I’m genuinely impressed with the craftsmanship.

I originally ordered this for my sister, but as a fan myself I kept it. The stone looks like it has depth inside and the silver chain is beautiful. It doesn’t feel mass-produced. I’ve just ordered another one for her.
